Thrilled with the Content

After having watched 2 of the 10 videos in the series, we are thrilled with the content so far. Our kids are under 10, so we purchased it for our homeschooling library. It's already sparked interesting discussions between Dad and our 8-year-old son (who has been learning 3rd/4th grade American history). We figure it's never too soon to plant the seeds of truth. As parents, we enjoy having it on during dinner occasionally; it prompts us to discuss history at the dinner table with the hopes that we'll internalize some of the facts, so they might spill into our lessons with the kids. So far it's very interesting for parents (and hopefully older kids) to listen to. We plan to collect all similar series. (read more)

Great for high school age

My husband and I have been watching the videos and were amazed at how much we did NOT learn in public school! I'm so thankful that there are resources like this so my children can learn real history. This great series brings to light the original texts and original documents, so we can see a clear picture of who our founding fathers were. (read more)

An Excellent Supplement

This is an excellent supplement to our history studies. I have a history degree and I focused on American history so a lot of the information that is presented in the DVDs I already knew, but there was some new material for me, as well. It's important to teach our children about the godly founding of the United States from a very early age, and this is a good way to do that. My four children are all very young (my oldest is just finishing kindergarten), but I've even put the videos on for them just to be exposed to the ideas contained therein. (read more)

Opened Our Eyes to the Truth

This series has opened our eyes to the truth about our country's Christian beginnings and heritage.

Very Eye-Opening

My son, 14, and daughter, 12, have been watching these along with myself. It is very eye-opening to learn our heritage and how far we have turned away from the convictions of our founding fathers. My son had never heard of many of these people, as he has been in public school until this year. I am going to encourage them to study some of the individuals more in depth to learn how they shaped our country and the documents we hold dear. We are using this as supplemental material, as we are working on World History for our core studies. I will definitely recommend it to others and may see about using it for a Sunday school class. We've only viewed a few of the episodes in this series so far, but each episode is full of information regarding our rich American heritage! I'm grateful that someone is doing this work to set the record straight for future generations, and David Barton does it with integrity. A Great Series from David Barton

I was thrilled about this great series from David Barton. He is a wonderful historian who uses primary documents for all of his facts and doesn't try to rewrite our history. This is spectacular, and I would recommend it to anyone who cares about how our country was founded and why we are in the state that we currently are in.

Impressed

I knew nothing of David Barton or his work when I bought this series, but now I am so glad I got them. I was working on a year-long unit about the Constitution for my kids and me when this series caught my attention. I am impressed with what he knows. His presentation style might not hold the attention of younger kids, but you can take the information and present it to them in a more entertaining way, or you can just do shorter segments of the disk. I am grateful I bought these, and I will use them in several ways over the next few years. We have learned many important things from them. (read more)

Every Home Should Own This

I have purchased 3 sets. I purchased a set and gave it to my pastor anonymously when I heard him tell someone he couldn't afford it after an event where David Barton spoke in our community. The set I just ordered recently is the second set I have purchased for myself. My first set I loaned out to people who wanted to learn and teach their children acurate history from original sources. I have highly recommended this to my friends in our homeschool co-op as I believe every home should own this. I have only listened through the 3rd DVD because the information is so good that I want to learn it well before moving on. The more I listen and learn, the more patriotic I become and the pride I feel as an American swells deep inside.
