Mark, Janice, and their young daughter Julie have lived in their home about two months when strange things begin to happen. At first, the mysteries are annoying, but then they becoming terrifying. The family is forced to deal with television sets that go on and off by themselves, strange noises in the attic, movements in the shadows, bursting light bulbs, unexplained voices, terrifying dreams, and dolls that seem to have a mind of their own.
As a self-sufficient, independent man, Mark tries to fix the scary events with his own resources. However, it will take a near-death experience for Mark to realize he needs the power of the Holy Spirit to rid his home of these malevolent spirits. Full of thrills and mystery, Spirits Among Us reminds viewers that their most important battle is not against flesh and blood.

Dove Worldview:
I am not one for scary movies or horror films but this one is different than the usual Hollywood horror flicks. A family movies into a house which has some frightening sounds and unexplained happenings. Mark, Janice and Julie are scared but Mark turns to their pastor for help with the problem. This is where he finds his faith and belief which helps in his home. This is definitely a movie that the Christian community can watch. Dove awards the Dove Seal to this film for 12+ due to some scenes which may be a bit intense for younger children.
